Interrogation Series: Storefront for Art & Architecture, New York

September 24th, 2013. Hotel Yeoville Book Launch Event at The Storefront for Art and Architecture In New York: a space, and a platform committed to the advancement and intersection of innovative positions in architecture, art and design. Their program of exhibitions, artists talks, film screenings, conferences and publications is intended to generate dialogue and collaboration across geographic, ideological and disciplinary boundaries. “The Interrogation Series develops questions and interviews between institutionalized modes of inquiry and/or emerging discourses. The events aim to produce multiple methodologies of inquiry and ultimately extract a confession or obtain information from certain suspects in relation to a particular crime [book, building, photograph, thought,…] through a series of arguments, questions and [hopefully] answers”. Participating in this series, Columbia University Professors Mabel Wilson and Mario Gooden (of the GSAPP) ‘interrogated’ me, after an introduction by Fourthwall Books, (Johannesburg) Publisher & Editor, Bronwyn Law-Viljoen.
